Linda Watts - Airline GHG Reduction Specialist

Linda Watts, is an Airline GHG Reduction Specialist with Aster Global Environmental Solutions. In this role she utilizes her aviation background to work with airlines flying international routes on issues related to ICAO's Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA). In addition to CORSIA, she has worked on a variety of GHG verification projects as an auditor in the waste management/recycling sector and the wine industry. 

Prior to her position with Aster Global, Ms. Watts was a commercial airline pilot flying domestic and international routes for 21 years in B727, B737, B757, and B767 aircraft. In addition to her flying experience, she has extensive experience with meteorology, aircraft safety, crew resource management, FAA proficiencies, and airline operations.

GHG Validation and Verification Experience

The Aster Global staff has been conducting third-party validations and verification since 2007 and has been accredited by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) under the ISO 14065:2007 since March 2010. Due to strict confidentiality requirements associated with many of our current and past projects we are unable to discuss full details of projects; however, the following is a list of programs for which Linda has conducted past and current project validation/verification efforts:
